You do. You buy the complete system and it is your property. All savings on your electricity bill are yours.

No permit or act of a building authority is needed for a system up to 10.8 kW, including with a battery. A system from 10.8 kW to 150 kW needs a works approval (rešenje) under Article 145 of the Law on Planning and Construction.

A household prosumer can have a system of up to 10.8 kW. The system may never exceed the approved connection power.

Surplus electricity fed into the grid carries over from month to month and reduces your consumption, separately for the higher (VT) and lower (NT) tariff. Solar produces during the day, so it offsets higher-tariff consumption. Excise, VAT and levies apply to net consumption.

The settlement year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Surplus left on 31 March is cancelled without payment. That is why we size the system to your consumption, not to the size of your roof.

Households that file the metering point adaptation request with EDS by 31 December 2026 keep net metering. New households move to net billing from 1 January 2027. Surplus is then worth whatever the supplier contract says, because that price is not regulated.

The metering point adaptation request goes to the regional EDS. EDS removes the old meter, a licensed firm adapts the metering point, and EDS checks and seals it. The request for a net metering contract then goes to EPS. Systems up to 10.8 kW follow a simplified procedure with a legal maximum of 30 days.

You pay the final price. Zansu d.o.o. is not registered for VAT, so we charge no VAT. Several Serbian banks offer green loans for this kind of investment. Municipalities publish public calls for household subsidies from time to time. The amount depends on the call, so we never deduct it from the price.
