Yes. A household system of up to 10.8 kW needs no building permit or other approval. Systems from 10.8 kW to 150 kW need a works approval (rešenje o odobrenju za izvođenje radova). System output may not exceed the approved connection power. We handle all regulatory requirements as part of our service.

Public calls by municipalities and cities co-finance household solar systems. Whether a call also covers repowering an existing system depends on its conditions. We help you check the current call in your municipality and apply.

Households that submit the metering-point adaptation request to EDS by 31 December 2026 keep net metering. The regulations do not state explicitly how replacing equipment on an existing system affects that status. We therefore check your EPS contract and the EDS conditions before any work.

Households that become prosumers from 1 January 2027 move to net billing. Surplus is then settled in dinars at the price in the supplier contract, and that price is not regulated.

Under net metering, surplus is not paid out. It offsets your consumption in the following months, separately for the higher and lower tariff. Surplus left on 31 March is cancelled without payment, so more output only makes sense if your consumption can use it. We advise on the right size for you.
